Washing machine: Use hand wash or wool cycle and use a gentle detergent like Woollite Delicate. Dry flat (otherwise it will stretch).
Handwash: Fill your sink with warm (not hot) water and add gentle laundry detergent, like Woolite Delicate (liquid detergents work best). Add the sweater and gently swish the garment around for 10 minutes. Remove excess water by rolling up the sweater and pressing on it. Never wring out, otherwise it will stretch or lose its shape. Replace water with clean water and repeat until water is clear. Dry flat.
