Booties aren’t just for the cold, wet weather. They can also help protect your dog’s paws from the heat. Many surfaces absorb heat, like sidewalks, which can burn your dog’s feet. Fortunately, the WagWellies Mojave booties can protect your dog from hot pavement and gravel. The holes ensure your dog’s paws won’t overheat while the slit design makes it easy to slip on.

Keep in mind, it can take dogs a while to adjust to wearing booties. When you first put them on, you may notice the “high step,” as the boots can throw off your dog’s coordination because he no longer can feel the ground surface. It may take a bit of adjustment – both inside and outside.
We bought the XXL for our two 180lb Great Danes. We did not have high hopes as usually with dog items even the largest of sizes don't work for our boys. These are perfect! They are a little unsure but once they find out they get to go out and about they forget all about them. They stay on and serve their purpose. We haven't used them for long periods of time yet but so far so good. Highly recommend!
