These compostable poop bags are made from natural materials like corn starch, with no additives and best of all, no plastic. They are certified to EN13432 and TUV standard.
A used dog poop bag must be disposed in a home or industrial composter that accepts dog waste. Another option is to use a dog poop wormery and compost the dog poo for non-edible plants only. When in doubt about proper disposal, ask your local council.
Do not flush
The best way to do this is through a home composter in which you use it in your own yard. (Here is an in-depth article about how to do it) However, you can’t mix these with food scraps and plants, nor should it be used to grow food and edible plants.
For industrial composting and composting dog waste, speak to a local representative or search online for where it is and isn’t acceptable.
These can be thrown in the trash and will decompose in the landfill, but it does take more time to break down.
