For preventative care, use on a monthly basis.
If there are signs your dog's ear need to be cleaned (excessive scratching or rubbing of the ears, redness, an unpleasant odor, or a waxy discharge), begin by gently massaging the base of the ear to loosen any debris.
Apply into the ear canal without putting the tip of the bottle far into the canal. Gently massage the base of the ear and use a cotton ball to remove excess solution. Or moisten a cotton ball and gently wipe inside of ears. DO NOT USE COTTON TIP APPLICATORS.
If your dog shows signs of discomfort or if you notice any abnormalities during the cleaning process, stop immediately and consult with your veterinarian.
